About Mar:
Mar Rivero graduated from Anahuac University Medical school in Mexico city in 2012. She continued on to do her Residency in a dual program for Clinical nutrition and Internal Medicine in Mexico City and then decided to pursue a Masters in Clinical nutrition, and graduated in 2016 from Colombia in NYC. After receiving her Masters degree, Mar pursued a certification in Functional Medicine at the Institute of Functional Medicine and Kresser Institute, which she completed in 2018 and 2019 respectively. In January 2018, Mar and her husband welcomed their first child into the world, and she continued to work in private practice in Mexico City until June 2019 when they moved to Dallas. Right before the COVID pandemic hit the US, they had triplets in February 2020. Even as a mother of 4, her passion for medicine and helping others led her to start practicing medicine again via Telehealth in January 2021. My newest enthusiasm is for health and nutrition coaching, which she started last month and is based out of Dallas.
