February 2020 General Meeting

Our General Meeting is always the second Tuesday of the month and will be held this month on Feb. 11. Come to the auditorium in Building 3, which is across the street from Medical City Plano (suite 315). Look for greeters or a sign near the elevators.

Maintaining Health Relationships

Frisco counselor Brittany Lashua specializes in sex therapy and relationship issues. She’ll be at our February meeting to give tips for a healthy relationship… especially for those of us who are sleep deprived, exhausted, overwhelmed, too busy and maybe haven’t had a real “date night” in ages!

Prenatal and Postpartum Mental Health - PAMOM member and therapist Kimberly Hansley from Curis Functional Health will talk to new and expecting MOMs about the mental health challenges that come before, during and after pregnancy. Whether this is your 1st pregnancy or the 5th, depression, anxiety or mood disorders can arise, along with challenges that are new to mothers and families. Kimberly is passionate about helping mothers and fathers conquer parenting.

Organizing Your Home - Have multiples hit your home like twin tornadoes? Mallory Shows from Hello Happy Home will offer tips and suggestions for home organization. She’ll help you declutter, organize, contain, label and repeat. Life with multiples may be chaotic but your home doesn’t have to be.

Bullying - Bullying is a topic that we had to reschedule last month but it’s one that we thought school-aged MOMs would really benefit from. Therapist Bryna Talamantez from Curis Functional Health specializes in working with kids, teens and young adults experiencing anxiety. She’ll be at the meeting to talk about everything from dealing with bullies to being the parent of “that kid.”
